Dover Castle - Kent (April 27)

We travel to the edge of Britain to Dover Castle - built atop the chalky cliffs overlooking and overseeing the shortest route to France - since it’s site as a Roman lighthouse it has become a medieval castle which was twice sieged in 1250 and again in 1265 - in WW2 days it played a huge part (due to its position) in the legendary Battle of Britain. Today it’s an iconic visitor attraction run by English Heritage. Prices for non-EH members are £38 - £55 (EH members deduct £17pp) usual inclusions. Estimated departure time: 8:30 am

Stratford on Avon - Warwickshire (May 26)

A full day to explore the home town of William Shakespeare with its many attractions - price £22 - £39 includes coach and gratuity. Estimated departure time: 8:30 am

Post Office Museum (June 30)

A full day trip to see the history of the postal service in Britain - as well as thousands of exhibits of postal delivery vehicles we take their city and village tour which as well as a train ride underneath the city includes a fish and chip supper. Price includes coach, entry and train ride and gratuity £60 - £77. Estimated departure time: 9:30 am

Tenterden Railway - Kent (July 30)

Once part of the Kent and East Sussex Railway, this railway offers steam train rides - as well as an excellent station restaurant, this trip includes a Cod and Chips lunch. The site is well equipped to deal with our less mobile members - prices for visit, meal and train ride are £47 - £62 usual inclusions as regards coach and gratuity. Estimated departure time: 8:30 am

Westminster to Kew Gardens Thames river cruise (August 20)

Our journey starts at Westminster pier right beside Westminster bridge and Parliament - along the route we will have sight of Lambeth Palace, the Tate Gallery and the Royal hospital at Chelsea - arriving at Kew pier we will have time in the afternoon to visit Kew Gardens - price £45 - £61 includes cruise entry fee to Kew Gardens, return coach and driver gratuity. Bruges - Belgium (September 16)

Our international trip is to the canal city of Bruges in Belgium. Famous for chocolate and lace, who can fail to be inspired, a trip on the canals is a must. Price with usual inclusions £48 - £95. Estimated departure time: 6:30 am

Behind the Scenes tour of The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (October 14 TBC)

We enjoy a behind the scenes tour of this world-famous opera house to see how it all happens - there are options of a café lunch approx £5 - £15 and a Pizzeria which offers a 2-course lunch from £20. Price for entry and tour with an estimate of lunch with usual inclusions of return coach and gratuity £55 - £75.

Royal Albert Hall - Classical Spectacular (November 10 TBC)

Dates and more details available in April I guess we are talking at least £60 plus cost of a meal before say £35 pp usual inclusions.

Christmas Carol Concert at Royal Albert Hall with dinner in Verdi Restaurant (December 21)

We have booked 50 seats in the Main Arena area (in front of stage). Meal booked in the Verdi Italian Restaurant on site. Price including return coach, seat in RAH , dinner and driver gratuity is £89- £106. You will receive shortly a request to commit to this trip - and shortly after to pay a deposit equal to seat price and deposit on meal. This is normal on RAH bookings.
